A Message from the Pastor

I am so pleased to be the shepherd of this vital congregation! You might wonder what you will find here, were you to join us in our mission and ministry. One of the first things you will notice about us is that we have a more informal atmosphere than some churches. We use chairs instead of pews and choir members do not wear robes. We want people to feel comfortable as we join together in glad reverence for the worship of God.

At a deeper level, you will find a diverse family of God where all are welcomed, varied theological beliefs are held and differences are not sought to be overcome but respected.

We are a very mission oriented congregation. As members of the family of God, the joys and concerns of any are the joys and concerns of all. We care for others because "they" are a part of "us." As we serve others, we are the hands and feet of Christ in the world.

Finally, the congregation has a wonderful music program. On any given Sunday morning, you might hear classical or gospel singing, the joyful offerings of our band - The Bare Naked Ankles, or other special music. Whatever it is, our varied music is all offered worshipfully to the glory of God.

Please join us!
