Sunday School (for children) is held during the worship hour. Children begin their day in the sanctuary with their families. They hear a short children’s sermon in front of the congregation then depart to their classes.

Infants through age 2 are invited to the nursery where they hear stories, sing songs and pray. Christ Clarion strives to have one adult nursery teacher present throughout the year so that the children are comfortable.

Children aged 3 through 5th grade enjoy our Workshop Rotation Model. They learn one Bible story throughout the month, experiencing it in different formats. We have Ancient Tales, Creation Station, Drama and Media stations. These allow the children to learn the story in different ways. Frequently the children share their story with the congregation, at the end of the month, by performing a skit.

The middle school children have three programs to choose from, with many participating in all. They include Church School with lively discussions on topics of interest to this age group highlighting morals, friendship and outreach. We offer a Confirmation Class to anyone interested in joining the church in 6 th, 7th, or 8 th grade. Activities include meeting with church mentors, study on Sunday morning and mission activities in the community. The youth enjoy fellowship in the Youth Group. They pariticipate in mission activies and work camp.

The high school youth are offered a Sunday morning discussion gropu covering topics relevant to them. The youth work together on fundaraisers that support their one week mission trip to Maine.
