Chiapas Report on October 23rd
At the Sunday morning worship service the congregation received a report on the successful mission project to the village of Neuva Flor in Chiapas, Mexico. In June, a clean water system was installed in a village where people, before the project, had to use a large portion of their resources to buy their drinking water.
An accompanying slide presentation described the genesis of the project, introduced the congregation to the Mexican villagers, water project manager, and government workers who worked together to install the clean water system. The pictures below were taken in Chiapas.
